actually the market is well done and allows the...trader type to get gil.
crafter can make gils (it's long tough)

but for the fighting type... nothing, you are forced to be a trader, crafter for make gils and that not fair.
With the changes they made, a fighting type can make enough gil to pay for the repair bills. I still don't see why a fighter type deserves to get rich? As long as you can keep paying your repairs, it should not be a problem.
Again, do levequests, there are fighting leves as well, you know.

every mmo has a way for a fighter type to get rich. Even 1.0 did. Why u think 2.0 should be the exception is beyond me.

    Yo Peeps -

Ive thought about this issue and its not an easy balancing act so the two idea I propose are for the Allagan Tin Pieces 25gil ones in an open world environment, this is if people want to farm gil they can but it will time consuming and still leaves crafting viable (i think). Anyways ideas are -

    1) Fate mobs to have a chance to drop Allagan Pieces/ Gil.
    2) (i dont know if this has any bearing at the moment - if it does please do share as im not sure if chain levels have any effect apart from exp) Have open world mobs have a chance of dropping Allagan Pieces/Gil or better loot depending on your chain level?

    Any suggestions, adjustments?

Oh, sorry. It was actually Walnut Lumber, not Oak Lumber. They're both obtained in South Shroud. The highest gil reward I've seen that leveequest give is 512. A HQ turn in is 3x that amount, and its a triple turn in levee, so you can make up to 4603 gil per levee allowance.

Because 2.0 is not 1.0. So how it's beyond you is probably because you still think 2.0 is just expansion of 1.0.
SE have said that ARR is like a new MMO, so clearly they don't want everything from 1.0 into 2.0.

Do leves, farm various leathers and materials that go for a high price on the market. You can get rich as a "fighter" type. I really don't understand what you guys are requesting, do you want to do a dungeon and get 100k gil reward?
Or do you want to kill 50 monsters out in the field and get 50k gil? There are ways to get money as a "fighter" type, attempt to at least find out yourself how to.

Just do like the RMT do. They sit in an area and use a target attack script on a certain npc type. Like the ones that stand there farming karakul in coerthas. They've been doing it for weeks and haven't been banned so I guess SE thinks its OK to do so.

I do not want to Craft. I do not want to gather some silly materials or go fishing - thats not my thing. It is boring imo. I do not want to level another job to 50 just for the sake to gather Gil, which will be nontheless harder since there are barely any quests left and Id need to Fate-Grind.

Why can`t you just sell items from Dungeons? In every other game you can sell/trade items from raids/dungeons in order to sustain.

How am I supposed to survive, economically?
without crafting or gathering, you aren't going to make any money. Stop trying to plow the game because that's why your broke. Idjit

And what, dear slow one, do you suppose will happen when you are crafting all these weapons for those "plowing the game" and they can't afford it because all the wealth has accumulated with the crafters and gatherers? Well, then you have to wait to sell anything because the people who "plow" will have to level crafts. Meanwhile, those who made money early will simply level their clearly-not-plowing characters and exchange money with each other.

The people who chose to level "plow" classes will remain poor until the higher tiers while the people like you (who CLEARLY chose to play the right way because you're so great and always right) will continue to sit on large amounts of money. This ends in a picture we like to call stagnation.

If you can earn a lot gil by DoW or DoM.
What's the point of DoL and DoH?
Those who babbling about gil are all the same.
"I don't wanna craft,I should get rich by killing things,This is not about gil transfer it's about gil generation, bla bla bla"
The meathead should be poor,or you can just go hunting some mat and put it on market.
If you want to earn everything by killing you should stop playing this game and try MONHUN(not sarcasm)
