Doesn't matter what the thread title is - the two items are interconnected and its to be expected that this discussion would happen.

The fact that there seems to be so much opposition because some of you guys think that people want changes so they can hack/abuse their way to victory is just upsetting and says a lot about this community as a whole.

There is much distrust among the player-base. There are some players with over-developed sense of "freedom". There are others with an over-developed sense of "fairness". The two paradigms clash more often than they should, to be honest.
