The fact is I reported a problem we had with their system, he replied referencing a cheat mechanic which had nothing to so with the original complaint - and the original complaint is a legitimate issue.
Had he worded it like:
"We understand your worries but the devs are concerned that this will be used for exploitative purposes and we cannot change it at this time. We still welcome any suggestions.."
Then I would have felt that my point had been taken on and not discarded out of hand. It's called Customer Service.
