Yeah, but it wasn't a open conversation. It was me replying to one post informing said poster that Tanaka has played more than just FFXI and FFXIV. You are now going on your own personal rant. Maybe find a comment more related to your agenda. None of what you said even should be a springboard to me saying Tanaka has played Everquest. It will be expected that you will reply with more rants.

You guys beat me with your astounding logic skills and your attention to evidence. I like all the links you've provided to these things Yoshida has said and all the evidence to support it.

I am a little mad that we have the start of a new battle system coming in 5 weeks, after a 5 month wait, and not a single word other than "auto-attack" has been said to describe it. That doesn't annoy you?

I have to say though "I will personally be determining which of these are necessary, and when an implementation schedule becomes clear, I will add it to the list above." means "I will throw out anything on this list that I see fit and you'll never hear about it again."

That's an apt paraphrase of that statement. So he did say he'd be keeping those things, but he also implied he'd throw things that "weren't deemed necessary by him" away. Correct me if you read that sentence any other way.
