The gear degrade rate hasn't changed.
You're just fighting more than 3 bosses now. You're fighting a good maybe 60 or 70+ mobs to get to the bosses.
Welcome to playing the right way.

Raifuru,
If you read my original post, I stated it was for Castrum Meridiunum. I've been running CM properly since the first time I tried it for Story Mode. We've never "speed run" Castrum before or after the patch. Gear Damage is higher.
Ah but you also said you used Amdapor Keep as a test. You have no supporting evidence at all.
Considering the level of outright negativity and nitpicking on the forums, I suspect that someone else would have already complained about this if it was an issue. But that has not happened. When someone makes accusations such as this, the burden of proof is the one doing the accusing to show evidence. You have not done so.Aaros, yes it's happening. And I did plenty of proper runs in Castrum and Palace and Keep before the patch. The Durability has been increased.
My complaint is that on the surface, it looks like Yoshi P and the team are "doing a good thing" reducing NPC Repair Costs (which were too high); and that's great. But then, they secretly ninja patch in Higher Gear Damage / Wear, which basically is being dishonest to the community.

Hi Aaros,
Sorry I should've clarified: We did Castrum w/ 100% repaired gear (happy we had reduced costs at NPC). Then noticed how much Gear Damage we took. AK was separately run later.
Please tell me how much it cost to repair after one single Castrum clear, it was 1.2k per run skipping most of the trash and zero deaths before this patch.
I did a full Meridianum run Tuesday night and I had about 20% durability loss. No deaths.Aaros, yes it's happening. And I did plenty of proper runs in Castrum and Palace and Keep before the patch. The Durability has been increased.

I think you're either imagining things or this is an unintended side effect of the patch, but if it was their intention to speed up durability loss at the cost of lower repairs I'm pretty sure they would have put that in the patch notes.
