only the initial hit of dots with initial hits can crit and not their damage over time component, but determinations affects all damage. makes more sense to go int > det > crit > spell speed.I'm going with Int > Crit > Spell Speed > Det.
So, endgame would be AF+1 Helm/Chest, Allagan Hands/Legs/Feet.
I would use the Darklight Breeches, imo, over AF+1 Breeches. Crit/Spell Speed vs Accuracy/Determination.
For the facts, I'm not sure if extensive testing has been done, but +crit has been shown to have very good returns.
I've had River of Blood proc off of every tick of a Windbiter/Venomous Bite cast, meaning at least 6 crits in 18 seconds. Maybe you just can't crit the dummies?
Crit is not written on the DoT damage but it sure does take place since BRD relies on crit DoT to proc abilities.
Because all DoTs damage are written into 1 damage (this include DoTs from other party members), it is right now impossible to tell anything about it (except testing on dummies but their HP is too low and you end up killing them all the time. Not sure how this affects parser)
DoT crits just like other skills but they will not appear with an exclamation point or a bigger font. However, if you actually check the numbers, they will appear larger. In terms of combined DoT damage like say from all three DoTs, the number will vary a lot since one DoT MAY crit and the other will not and thus the damage increase is only slightly higher than the total damage all combined DoTs do. If ALL DoTs crit, it is 50% higher just like other skills.Crit is not written on the DoT damage but it sure does take place since BRD relies on crit DoT to proc abilities.
