Agreed. Unless you're talking about games like Diablo III which is going on 8+ years of development! Also, it's a Blizzard game for those forum goers that think Blizzard is the golden child and can accomplish anything in half the time it is taking SE. News flash: They can't.

They can, they have a much bigger dedicated team and well they do have infinite resources as compared to SE. Also diablo III has not been in development for 8+years, thats like saying SC2 was in development for the last 12 years, wish is not true, they only started development 5-4 yrs ago

No one has infinite resources and I'd even guess that SE has much more resources available to them considering they work on a million games at a time, I just think Blizzard manages their resources better and don't overdo it by concentrating on one or two games at a time.

Just out of World of Warcraft Blizzard has made more money than Se has out of the entire FF franchise..... So yeah you where saying ?

I highly doubt that... with FFVII and FFXIII combined SE has made more money than WoW (The Retail Game Discs) in Sales.
Not to mention they had tons of other great selling games, FF10, and 9... the list don't stop. Also, once they release their games, they don't have to keep updating them, adding content, have a "HUGE" development team that they pay quite a lot for. Monthly fee's cover this, and give them profit I'm sure. But they haven't earned more than the Final Fantasy Franchise.

No. Do your homework. Development started on Diablo III in approx 2004. That's being nice and not including the 3 years it was bungled by Blizzard North when development started all the way back in 2001.

There is a big difference in gathering concepts and ideas and actually going out and developing a game, if you believe Diablo III has been in actual development since 2001 then i should be allowed to say FFXIV was under development since 2003.

Funny that was my answer when i said, rupture had been in development since 03, wish is 8 years to date, but hey its only on development when SE says it is... i'm i right ?
