I know exactly what you mean. Remember the Guildleve's where you need to escort someone to their destination via a specific route? You would have to target them and /beckon them before they would take a few steps in your direction. During the early beta phases, your chat box would be spammed with "Person A beckons Momoroon." text from the people who were doing that particular quest/leve.

In order refrain myself from spamming the chatlog with the same text, i made a "/beckon motion"-macro specifically for these type of quests.

Yep, I also made macros just for these emotes with /beckon motion <-- with them. Only problem I got with the macro though... can't use same motion icon lol
They really need to increase the amount of icons we can choose from for the macro's and categorize them class/emotes/marking/other

Or use a text command with which you can indicate which icon it should be using, like:

/useicon "Cure II"
