While I agree there are a lot of concerns for an addition like this, please don't shoot it down just cause (@forum users) - the concerns are addressable in many ways... I hope we can see what Yoshida has in mind before anti-wow chants (which may have nothing to do with Yoshida's mechanics) XDIn current MMOs there are many exquisite methods of transportation. What kinds of things are you planning for Eorzea Reborn?
I’ve been saying “We have to do flying.” One of the interesting part of Final Fantasy is to imagine what kind of airships and how they will fly, so we want to make it a mount where everyone will be surely be surprised.
(so yeah there are issues but depending on implementation they could either be eliminated or well nullified). Finally having my own fully realized "Final Fantasy" 3d airship gives me goosebumps >.>
*sets up fort*
I'll fight you, I'll fight you all!!!! lol
Thanks for the translations as always.

They just need to make one world map style area which is just top view map and be able to ride the airships there, you go near area you want to land you do the specific action and takes you down to that map like classic RPG style MMO revamped. While I agree there are a lot of concerns for an addition like this, please don't shoot it down just cause (@forum users) - the concerns are addressable in many ways... This sound so ...classic ^^

FYI before someone asks... Famitsu interview details is pretty much same as 4Gamer, I think they did the JP medias all together. Q/A is all same, just reworded slightly.

nvm there was one paragraph not in 4Gamer, translating now.

This was in the Interview from 4Gamers i believe? I am really not sure if i like that. Seems like the Game is turning more and more into "Single Player" Game. Only 1 Dungeon is 8 Man, when at least 4 were planned as 8 man and actually 2 were planned to be 24 man. The Maze is now 8 Man as well...From the dungeons we introduced this time, most of them are 4 players, only one is for 8 players.
I dont know why i would even need a Linkshell or Grand Company, if i can finish EVERYTHING with a handful of people. So i could actually play Solo and even the "hard" Stuff will be toned down at one point and available during Duty Finder. Does not seem right to me, that FFXIV is going this direction. That is far from what ARR was planned to be in first place; a MMORPG.
Maybe it is just me, but i remember SE saying that playing the Dungeons in Beta with 4 People were just for Beta and we would be able to "8 Man" most of them after Release. 1 out of 16-18 is not most to me.

Hi Reinheart, I'm nobody, but I would like to thank you for all the translation you have done. I don't understand a lick of Japanese but have been following you translating all the live letter.
So I'll just say thanks and hope to see you in Eorzea
thanks again
