I disagree, SCH heals don't need a buff.
Pet AI needs a buff though. :3c

I'm the Bloodgaru Queen.
Not really. You can directly control your pet. Stick Embrace into your hotbar and there, done. It's a more active healing class than WHM that way.
However, I will say that on anything with ground, environment, and unavoidable damage then you're in trouble. The first boss in Qarn, and the first boss is Aurum, for example, are almost guaranteed to kill off your Fairy. Without your Fairy, you're just a gimp WHM.
Fixed, thanks for bringing it to my attention.
Heal your fairy, she takes 80% reduced AOE damage. It's extremely easy to keep her up.Not really. You can directly control your pet. Stick Embrace into your hotbar and there, done. It's a more active healing class than WHM that way.

Dispute my math please? You literally just started a thread with zero evidence to back your claim that Scholar healing is not competitive with WHM's. Why don't you pop into the WHM threads and take a look at how envious they are of our ability to heal.

Have you done Qarn or Aurum?
Because Qarn is Doom and Aurum is unavoidable 200+ HP per tick poison that is incurable without means of using the in-battle fruits.
Your Sustain isn't going to keep her alive long, sorry, especially when the poison keeps getting reapplied.
Now, they could fix Aurum by patching in a fix that when you eat the Fruit the pet gets the fix. However for now, no way to keep her alive.
Doom is just a matter of getting your pet to follow you in time.
You can use "place" to move your pet onto the pad to dispell the Doom.Have you done Qarn or Aurum?

The only way I've found to get around the Aurum problem right now is to use Swiftcast to get her back out and keep her alive with Sustain + Adloquium as long as possible. Then you need to try and consider if she's more of a liability or a help at that point. It's just a crap situation in general.
But this is a separate issue from Scholars "not being competitive with WHM" and I agree it needs to be addressed by the dev team.

I had no problems in AV, I just used Swiftcast+Summon only one time the entire fight when she had 5 stacks and was near death. You can use "place" to move your pet onto the pad to dispell the Doom.

I do think the AI or pet control in general needs quite a bit of tweaking.

I'd say some boost to the AoE output would be useful, as well as improved Pet AI (or at least better control of their abilities through macros would be GREATLY appreciated) though otherwise I think scholars are fine. I feel they do taper a bit compared to Whm in terms of not wanting 2 in a 8 man, mostly due to the fact they don't have that big UMPH aoe heal. They are a bit behind i feel to WHM due to the aoe aspect, but far from being 'gimp'.
Gentle buffs, but no where near needing a big buff.
Drink a MND potion right before summoning your fairy, and it's healing will be turbo-charged. The potion wears off in 12 sec, but the fairy keeps the boost. This makes SCH class really nasty.
Pick up BLM skill quick cast, and use it to resurrect people instantly, or re-summon your fallen fairy instantly.
False it doesnt work i have tested multiple times with both faeries. I'm not understanding why people are asking for a scholar buff. Nor do i understand why people are suggesting whm's heal loads more? On every parse i have ever checked I heal the same if not more than the whm when i add my fairy healing, both in and out of coils. WHM/SCH combined is simply the best combination for all current game. Even titan.
Selene's silent dusk can be useful in the coils for parties that lack cover in a silence rotation. She did an excellent job in the coils tonight.
Eos and Selene both have range issues on embrace they should have the same range as me.
The pet can get caught by nasty dots that kill it quickly.
2*sch healer are not great but with voice coms and communication they work, 2*whm r not ideal but are more effective due to medica 2 stacking which i don't believe is wai ( yet to be seen ).
More control over the fairy's would be much better
All in all QOL issues no need for buffs IMHO, based on my expierance of current content and parser
