I'm not particularly upset about the waits for Customer Service; I understand they're swamped (although I will say that when WoW was released, Blizzard was ALSO swamped, but I had nothing close to this length of a wait). What I'm annoyed at is why they're simply not extending EA for a few more days so that they can catch up to the backlog of issues. It's absolutely ridiculous and insulting that this hasn't been done yet, and is really hurting my faith in SE as a company.

Because I'm trying to be reasonable? If SE:NA can realize now that they really need to get their shit together or they're going to have problems, then fine. It may have taken them a few days to see it, but, fine. They see it, and they're going to fix it. Finally.

My patience with them on later issues will be drastically reduced, however. But if they fix it today, like I want, then... there's not going to be much of a media story, anyway.

My apologies to everyone who is still having this problem and did not receive help so far. Please believe me, everyone here is working as hard as they can to help you. Unfortunately, due to the sheer number of inquiries, this takes longer than we would like and we fully understand that you are not happy with this situation.

To give you a better idea of what is happening with the chat, I'd like to confirm two things:

EU support helping US customers

It is not possible for EU customer support to help a US customer or vice versa. For data protection reasons, each region's customer support only has access to their own customers' information.

Using a link to contact Square Enix directly via chat

- The link posted earlier in this thread is not an official way to contact Square Enix and the only reason why we have not removed all references to it yet is that we want to help you as fast as possible.
- By using this link, you are bypassing parts of our support system and you may end up waiting in a chat queue for hours, simply because the chat is officially closed at that time and there's no one in the office to take your chat.

Again, we're doing everything we can to help you as fast as possible but many of you will, unfortunately, still face waiting times over the next days.

I know this is much to ask but please be patient and hang in there, we will help you!

right, be patient and then get what... nothing at all. my ticket was submitted over 3 days. i q'ed in chat for over 10 hours since yesterday. so whoever directed you to post msg expect us to just go thru SE's so call support, & after pgs of loading and no chat support? no, you don't want help us as fast as possible. you want to go home, enjoy the long weekend. no, none of you care whether we suffer or not. SE just want our money.

i'll do both bypass your bs support pgs, and go thru your bs support pgs. i got 2 laptops and 2 desktops, enough to que.

oh btw, i'd shoot any messenger if situation was this bad. my GF already put thru a dispute for the game purchase. she will be filing a complaint on BBB and FTC. not that it's gonna go away where. but just for the heck of venting anyways. i wonder if this is consider false advertising... we bought a game we couldn't play...

It will be, but from 12 pm to 5 pm pacific time. We have another ~ 2 hours till they open. From what I've heard its Sat and Sun but they are closed Monday for holiday.
