    My case was a little different, please someone tell me if is possible recover my character:

    Yesterday when i tried to login that was a message saying that my account had suspicious activity and i must change the password, so i receive an e-mail and change it. After change i tried login and said that the password or ID was incorrect, so i changed it again, and the same message appear, and i changed it once more, and the same message appear. So i thought that the only problem could be the ID, and i tried to log in with the ID without the number that they give, and worked. So i was asked for the registration code and i put i on the account without the number, but my character wasnt there. Now i cant login in the account with the number, and in the Mog Station i cant see the account with the number, but in the guild my character is still there and in my other account here is still there.

    Is possible recover it?

    From your description, you seem to be having a different issue. You may also have gotten a fake email. It's fairly long, so I won't repost it here, but if you look at the main page of the support site, there should be this announcement: Warning Regarding Square Enix ID/Password Fraud (Jul. 1)

    Please read it, and ensure you haven't been the target of a fraudulent email.

    EDIT: Oh, wait. Login... nevermind. My bad, I misread.

    That announcement may still be a good thing to read, though. x:

    I think you just got hacked. Any messages saying to change your password with a link that you don't know about is a hack link. You need to contact SE right away. I never respond to those things unless it's from a message in my square enix inbox after i logged into it.

    My character is still in the Free Company. And i dont receive the e-mail from a random person, the e-mail that i got was from SE and i got it only after tried log in the game and received the message. The "suspicious activity" message was on the client.

    Do you have an authenticator on your account? If you don't then I think you need to get one. i speak from plenty of personal experience. Even though i never fell for phishing attempts my Wow account alone has been stolen multiple times when I played. Once it was stolen by someone in China and sold to someone in Russia. The last time someone had stolen it the GM told me what the people had done to it, because I had found it "banned"

    The people that stole the account use your own account to promote gil/money selling. Which in turn (they don't have to pay for services and they also can steal your gold) If you see someone out there shouting for gold or gil it's because their account has been stolen and now Gil sellers are using it. Or they are just stupid enough to pay 60$ for the game just to do so.

    Chances are they likely deleted your character. "Suspicious" activity so early in the game could mean gil sellers. There were people in Early access already promoting the sell of Gil and they had regular names like "Dawnstrike motherborn" or whatever. Normally they use names like "fhsfoush asdfhsiudflhsf" but it's regular names :/

    I'd speak to a Gm(IF you can. They are pretty booked up right now ....) to try and get it solved. Try getting an authenticator too. You can get a ditital one that goes to your phone when oyu need to log in I believe.

    I dont have an authenticator. I dont get a e-mail talking about the suspicious activity, i tried to log and i got this message on the client, AFTER that message i received the e-mail talking to change my passowrd. My character wasnt deleted, i can see it on the Free Company. The problem is that i changed the password several times and i couldn't log in the account, so i tried another ID, and then i registered on it, but when i logged into my character wasnt there, and also my other account isnt in the Mog Station, but i can see it on the Square Enix website.
