So looking toward endgame what are you guys thinking the (General) single target opener will be? My thinking right now:

Perfect Balance: (Flank) Demolish > Twin Snakes > Snap Punch > Snap Punch >

(this gets all your buffs up ASAP. This is probably the only time demolish will be worth using since it gains nothing from damage buffs and gets outscaled by Snap Punch)

    Blood for Blood +Internal Release

Dragon Kick > Twin Snakes > Snap Punch

From there you go into the alternating combos of:

    A) (back) Bootshine > True Strike > Snap Punch

    B) (flank)Dragon Kick > Twin Snakes > Snap Punch

A flank is to the side. So I just go from the opening in the enemies position circle(the back) to between where the lines start and where the arrow is(the front) and i get the flank bonus.

Also anyone know if LNC is still the secondary class for Monk? because I thought I read somewhere that Marauder was the new secondary class now.

    Blood for Blood

    Touch of Death +Fracture

(assuming they get 20% buff from BfB)

    Life Surge

    Dragon Kick

(guaranteed Crit thanks to Life Surge.)

    Internal Release
(Delayed because LS is already guaranteeing a crit. It lasts 15secs vs 20secs BfB so it syncs up nicely)

    Twin Snakes > Snap Punch

I like this, except I wouldn't use touch of death or fracture until parsers can show they're worth using. Since DoTs take up a global cooldown anything outside of Demolish might not be worth using.

Yeah, since I wrote that I start poking around and found out that damage modifiers do not apply to DOT ticks, only the upfront damage. Ironically, that would mean that the actual PUG DOTs are practically useless, while Fracture still has potential to be really good due to its high up front output + 10 ticks. Demolish might be worth it while you're ramping up and not full buffed, but afterward it would fall way behind Snap Punch.

Because of what you said then we'd be changing it to

Demolish > Twin Snakes > SP > SP or refresh Demolish

During Perfect balance to get 1 stack of GL and then the Twin Snakes buff increasing the next Snap Punches damage a bit higher . This seems a bit more efficient to me than starting with Twin Snakes since DoTs don't get increased damage.

After that we have... 9.5~ seconds of Demolish when GCD goes up, probably more due to GL III or it's at 0 before the 2nd Snap Punch, Refreshing Demolish would probably be more ideal but i'm not 100% sure it honestly seems just like burst vs sustain. We also have 2 ~ seconds left on Twin Snakes and 9.5~ on GLIII. I think at this point it'd be better to use Life Surge/BFB and then use Impulse Drive (Back 180) Before reapplying buffs and applying Dragon Kick. Impulse Drive (180 from behind) vs Dragon Kick (150 from flank +10% Blunt Damage 15s) + 20% from Enhanced Twin + 21% from GLIII.

Just my opinion on it anyway.

Also IMO Touch of Death and Fracture will only get use in fighting Multiple Trash targets or during Add phases where you have to leave the target but still want to do a bit of damage to it while you're away.

It's very noticeable when there are multiple MNKs in the party stacking DOTs on mobs/bosses with high HP.
