A blinding white light? doesn't sound very Odin to me and nobody sees him doing it? Rather than fight his worthy adversary he teleports him away to the labyrinth? and he doesn't go to the labyrinth to fight him there either?


"There are none now alive who know the truth of when or by whom this elder primal was first summoned into the world."

It's up for debate but to me that says that hes been around for so long anyone who might have lived long enough to know his origins is long dead. So i don't think he could have only just appeared because of the Crystal Tower, and if he did then why does he roam the black shroud? Why not nearby the Crystal Tower? Who knows what Odin considers a worthy foe? A general? An army? An adventurer? Another primal? Or a worthy soul?

If any primal/elder primal was involved i would say it would be a certain holy missile firing artillery castle. Especially if he was inside Dalamud until the bozja citadel incident or beyound. If Alexander was originally inside Dalamud with Bahamut then he might have been the one ment to send him back to his prison should he escape.

I'm not convinced it has any connection to the primals/elder primals yet though. We still don't know anything about how Siren or Fenrir will be involved in the story either. If even any of them do. As for Louisoix i hope he doesn't do a Gandalf though if he was teleported with Bahamut, i could enjoy watching the Louilites squirm as they have to fight a tainted Louisoix. =P

What that tell me is that Odin was always in eorzea he was just living beneath the black shroud all this time. When bahamut came and mess up eorzea many ruins of past civilizations resurface same goes with crystal tower. If you every saw part of black shroud it's so deep it's just all black. So pretty much when we walking around that area we would be the middle part of a very big tree lol. So i'm guessing someone summon him and he just stay there looking for a foe to fight. Time pass by and the tree grow and he was just trap beneath what we call now call black shroud too the event of 1.0 happen.
