By that logic, we could say that staring at the wall for hours at a time is challenging.
Enduring boredom isn't challenging. By general rule, anything a pet rock could do better than me isn't enjoyable.
I can understand why you would use this logic but I am talking about time as a means of accomplishment and challenge. Getting to rank 38 for the sake of raise was an accomplishment imo and created a goal, and kept me playing for whatever reason. Also, as of right now boredom/waiting and running back is a part of the penalty when dying. Unless they introduce xp loss at death there really isn't much of a penalty at all and I'd rather deal with the running part or getting to higher levels and having a con in a party who can raise than xp loss.
The fact that the game, at the moment, lacks a sizable number of high level goals, doesn't mean that basic utility skills need to be stuck into high level to replace said missing goals.I can understand why you would use this logic but I am talking about time as a means of accomplishment and challenge. They just need to create actual goals.
Well until then basic utility skills are goals :P
