There are major differences in the points Warlock brought up and this situation.

This is, from the information presented, an idea nothing like anything they planned on doing. In fact, it is contrary to what they planned on doing. Yoshida gave information on what he wanted mounts to be like, and he wanted mounts to be aesthetic (for a reason).

Many of the things being implemented or ideas being considered are things that Yoshida was already feeling strong about (PVP, jumping), or are systems that can easily be implemented into the current setup (AF dye).

This thread is basically going "Yoshida, we don't agree with you that they should be aesthetic. We should..." and I brought up my reasons for why I personally don't agree with it. Which are the same sort of reasons that were quite vocal on these boards some time ago before they became as dead as they are now. Aesthetics are important, not forcing people into certain situations with stats so everyone is a carbon copy of each other.

Anyway, done with this thread. I submitted my opinion, and getting too many responses taking the point and twisting it. Don't have time for this. Enjoy your discussion.
