I just see your just butt hurt over no alpha invite done with this thread.A company telling something to its customers and then doing something else is definitely not "silly", not even a little.
As a matter of fact. I have no idea if the Alpha went smoothly. Working on blind faith proved a bad choice once already.
When a company tells X to its paying customers and then does Y which happens to be the opposite of X, a percentage of those customers will lose a certain amount of trust in that company. It's a very simple and straightforward marketing rule.
