    As a matter of fact. I have no idea if the Alpha went smoothly. Working on blind faith proved a bad choice once already.

    When a company tells X to its paying customers and then does Y which happens to be the opposite of X, a percentage of those customers will lose a certain amount of trust in that company. It's a very simple and straightforward marketing rule.

    What Yoshida may or may not have said in some obscure interview somewhere doesn't really matter, as the paying customer isn't held to the responsibility or reading every single interview he gives or every forum post he makes. On the other hand, all of those that applied are to read the clauses of the application, which makes it the only applicable rule.
