If you get an error related to region, you're probably trying to apply in the wrong one.

No, they're individuals that have been educated by companies over the years to the concept that customer loyalty is to be rewarded, which is, mind you, a quite logical and balanced concept.

I'm sure they have. I'm also sure they know the difference between a mistake that is a devestating blow to the company and a blunder which is so small it's practically insignificant. Yeah, I'm pretty sure they're smart enough to know all of that. lol

The little fact that you're missing is that no one is pretending anything. You're continuing to try and refute a point that no one argued. It's a blunder. Serious or not, it's besides the point. Blunders should be avoided.

Except that blunders are going to happen, sooner or later. And they can be serious, or not serious. MY point, which seems to skip merrilly over your head a lot lol, is that this blunder is the latter kind, regardless of how much you want to believe otherwise.

Why, I believe you're in no position to assess SE's resources, and to decide whether they have the time to amend whatever mistake they make.

Nor do I believe you're a corprorate genius or something who can declare that any blunder made by the company is "Srs bzness", especially since they seem to be acting otherwise.

I'll give you a hint: they have a PR department and plenty community managers exactly for that purpose. "wasting" their time can hardly be "devastating". That's what they're paid for.

And yet, none of those "PR"s seem to be taking this blunder all that seriously. Hmm....

In a discussion forum in which the rules state clearly that demeaning others isn't allowed, it remains disallowed no matter how much you *think* it's justified.

Just as people are not going to be allowed to alpha test the game just because they have veteran status, no matter how much you may "believe" it should be so. (shrug)

You seem to be very bent in passing the idea that since blunders "happen" they shouldn't be taken seriously. Yeah, doesn't work like that.

Mind you, if you want to work in the development industry as you stated before, I suggest you lose this idea as soon as possible, because I can tell you from experience: it's not gonna fly.

You mean posting a lengthy post that probably took Yoshi at least a hour to compose and the PR department some more to review? That seems to be a rather serious response.

No, I'm no "corporate genious", but I do share quite a bit of experience in that world, besides a rather strong education in business with a degree in brand management.

I'm glad to hear that ^.^. but you are blowing this out of proportion though, it's just an Alpha test You must love crashes that much to complain. Who cares if "non-actives" get in as long as they are doing their part to make the " Retail" version of the game better, why would it matter if your in the Alpha Version?
