I've been scouring forums for where Yoshida said we could say if we were a part of the alpha or not, and I can't find it anywhere :xWhile Yoshida doesnt represent SE as a legal arbiter (I think... not impossible.. unlikely) I'm sure if Yoshida said so then the reps and gms would uphold the bosses word as if pardoned in the NDA.
But yeah.. as Abriael said .. SE could say Yoshida didnt have legal rights and legally kill your account anyways.

I'm sure. But the boss and the ones handling the accounts are different people, and when I sign a confidentiality agreement, It doesn't matter if my counterpart's boss tells me that I can blather to my heart's content. I'll follow it.
Better err on the way of caution, as in case of conflict, what's written in the agreement is the only thing that counts.
I'd love to stay and chat ... but I have some errr umm .. "business" to take part in. Laterz.
how many RMT got into alpha?
