I have to commend Yoshida for being so transparent when it comes to alpha/beta testing this game. The fact that he explains even to non-testers how the process works, not to mention that we've been getting weekly alpha-videos is pretty amazing to me. I've gotten the impression from other games that alpha and even beta is very hush hush.

Also, it's quite clear that he understands how much we're all dying to try it out, and that he's doing his best to get as many of us in the alpha/beta as possible. It makes me feel very good about the whole deal, even if I might never get an invite.

Will the alpha testers be able to post videos on gameplay/content of ARR?

Of course i most likely wont get accepted to the alpha , because there are more experienced people in this game than me.However if i do i would like to advertise and show people how good its got since it last released.

No. There's a strict NDA in place. Alpha testers aren't even allowed to disclose that they have been accepted.

When you signed up for the alpha invite / joined through the invite (if you did) you are agreeing to an NDA (non-disclosure agreement). You may not release - anything - that you derive from the alpha unless SE excuses you from the NDA (which they probably wont).

So best bet is not to unless you want to risk SE banning your account .

the previous NDA for 1.0 wasn't even lifted till mid beta, so it will be still awhaile till we see ppl posting their stuff
