Agreed. I'm tight. We stuck around, we want in. Alpha could turn those same people away, again.I'm sure its been said over and over, but I feel like the ALPHA should have been dedicated players. Players who know how to play in general, so they can help find bugs and help stress test with little guidance.
Then for the first wave BETA they could have invited all those people who quit the game long ago. Hopefully by first wave Beta most of the prominent wrinkles would have been smoothed out.
Alpha is not for showing off.
Meanwhile in the FFXIV Forums

Yeah, because knowing the OLD systems is so very useful to testing the new ones. SMH.
So much QQ'ing
Meh. I've played since beta and participated on the forums all the time... and no pass. Oh well, back to GW2![]()
If it isn't people whinging about how much the game sucks,
it's people whinging about not getting to play it / join the stress tests.
It's for stress testing, not playing. Get over it - you will get your chance to play it in beta/release. Just be patient.
As much as its a new game, it is still Final Fantasy 14..
Also, I hope no one takes my comments as huttburt.
I already knew I wouldn't get accepted.
My computer specs decided that one for me.
That sucks.. I'll never get in cause I'm legally obligated to select "Yes" when they ask "Do you work in the Video Game industry?" =(
Instant rejection ='(
Just by answering you were going to stay in alpha +42hours per week and not saying you wanted to see the game before anyone else, was a guarantee enough?
Wasn't more coherent, after all, to accept those who have displayed interested and took part actively both in game and forums for the last year, rather than some who didn't showed up for months?
