I think it is sad it has to come to that. But I agree that if Yoshi thinks it is important enough to reply to then none of us should question it. It's his jam, he should be able to riff as he pleases.
I bet the same people bitching to get into alpha are the same ones bitching about jumping. Imagine if they got in and were asked to jump in one spot for 5 hours straight HAHAHAHAHA!!
Saw this a little late haha, I hate that too! But then I'd just answer everything with kaomoji lol

Act in such a way that you treat humanity, whether in your own person or in the person of another, always at the same time as an end and never simply as a means
You might not be whining but your post reeks of entitlement. SE doesn't owe anyone alpha's and beta just because you supported them in 1.0. I am sure SE is grateful you did your part in supporting them.I'm not whining because i didn't receive the alpha invitation, but a lot of my friend that have quit the game AFTER THE FIRST MONTH FROM THE RELEASE GOT IT! And me (and others of course) supporting the game and paying for the crappy 1.0, didn't receive it.
Only who had an active FFXIV account was supposed to get the invitation right?
Now tell me dear SE, for the love of god WHY???
It was a kind of application site bug? If this was wanted? Just need clarification about this.
Surrounded by grass.
So I read Yoshi-P's post, and came away with this impression...
"Yoshi-P's Mega Blaster Cannon of Logic hits forum rage-tear whiners perfectly, wrecking for OVER 9000 STFU Have-some-cheese-with-that-whine!" points of damage."
Full of scorpions that breathe fire and like to attack jumping things.
