EDIT: Hold up. So you're saying every time there's that little "pulse" during a cutscene, it's essentially jump in the Echo?

If that's true (can Ferne please confirm that since 1.0's old storyline is getting changed anyway), I KNEW there was something up with that way back when. When i asked about it with friends, they had no idea what I was talking about.
