CE ARR Step Up

I had a post you can read about here where I had asked much the same thing.

To summarize it, I would like to know if
- 1.0 CE owners will receive any benefits for the ARR CE.
- Can we at least get new buddy passes
- What will the new CE cost
- What will be included in the ARR CE
- If I buy a ARR CE can I use any bonus codes on my 1.0 account instead of the ARR account (ie, I buy my wife a CE copy and take all the goodies for myself since she is only mildly curious and not an avid gamer)

(EDIT) Lol i jumped the gun again, just noticed you were talking about a possible upgrade. This sounds great and like you say, what it will include will determine if i go that rout or buy a separate one and transfer the bonuses to my account.

Some of the questions (like what will be inside) might be impossible to answer now but all are excellent questions.

As speculation it would be silly for SE not to give out a couple buddy passes need to spread that game lol.

1) Yes if you were subscribed and became Legacy member, if you just happened to get 1.0CE and played for a free month you get nothing.
2) I think 1.0 still good, but you don't get a second one just because. Maybe if you pay for a new CE you get a new one.
3) 60 to 120 would be best guess
4) No one knows
5) I don't think 1.0 codes will work in 2.0 (i may be wrong)

IE; There is a bonus content code section in the SE account management system where we put in the onion helmet code, can I just steal my wife's codes and use them on my account?

Just looking for some info and clarification on this is all, not saying I'm entitled to anything but this re-release thing raises a few questions. I will be content with whatever they decide cause I will probably be buying another CE anyway, between my wife and eldest son. Until then, I have a wild imagination!

1) I don't know what you mean CE offer's no in game bonuses..
-If you have bought FFXIV 1.0 (CE or otherwise) you get a copy of ARR.
-If you are legacy you get a mount
-If you are legacy you get subscription discount for as long as ARR lives
5) Your account as is will be converted to a 2.0 account, meaning any new codes that become available over time will be applied to your current 1.0 account which will be upgraded to a 2.0
