If it is aspects of bonding or just being able to enjoy your community in-game I think that player-created leves for gathering and crafting would be great. I started a more detailed discussion of that here: linky dinky doooo
What adds to the excitement is knowing that people are doing things around you let alone with you. This is a great way to continue to distribute money, items, and leves, while helping to maximize time. There is always something going on with which almost anyone can help.
Hello Punainen! I'm not sure if you've read much of this thread:I don't think MOST of the community thinks marriage in game should not be called marriage. Did you take a survey? Did you ask the whole community? Or are you just taking your own opinion and projecting it on others? Calling marriage something besides marriage is pointless.

But in here there's a discussion about SSM and also renaming marriage to something else, the reason being that the word 'marriage' is uncomfortable for some to pair with same sex couples whether it is for moral or religious reasons etc. The idea of renaming it for this reason so that ingame marriage/partnerships can be all-inclusive and not exclude same sex couples and shake the stigma that has come to be associated with the word marriage has received a lot of positive feedback. If you're curious feel free to check it out^^.

Act in such a way that you treat humanity, whether in your own person or in the person of another, always at the same time as an end and never simply as a means

Could do a lot of things with that.
I was going to reply then I saw yours.Hello Punainen! I'm not sure if you've read much of this thread:

That moment is very cute!! I was wondering if more was going to happen around that in ARR (I wasnt sure what kind of relationship it was but I'm excited to learn more).

I think my guild sums up your one post in one word, Nakama.
Please don't put words in my mouth, I don't agree with this. >.>;
Also I didn't really see anything about romance in your thread. I'm not sure I follow. You seem to be asking that SE focus more on the massive-multiplayer and less on the roleplaying-game? I think social is important but without the latter it becomes something like second-life. The gameplay and its framework must come first! After all when it comes to the social aspect, SE can only do so much - its up to the community and each of us to make it into something worthwhile and meaningful. Maybe your question should be - what can the community do to make FFXIV something more involving/social for its players?
No, to me it sounded like he wanted SE to focus on the Massively Multiplayer and Role-playing.
It's nice to see SE adding things in that gives you more interest to log on every day. Seriously contrast that to WoW.. what did you do every week? I logged in twice, once to do heroics and then raids, the other to do dailies, or gathering. Seriously boring as hell.

Precisely, thank you. A lot of mmorps are really just an mmog with rpg "elements".
Belonging to the game is not created just by making thousands of dungeons.
I'd say more but I'm on my phone lol
I'd love to see more of the RP aspect to the game instead of just the MMO part just like you both (Shou and Yellow) have said.
While I love battles and such I love the community aspect of things too, if not more. Getting to know people, making friends and having stuff to do aside from the usual whack-a-mole style play really makes a game stand out from the usual grindfests (not to say that XIV doesn't have plenty of this side of things too!)
I'd like to see the game cater for many tastes, so there's the community 'fluff' type stuff and also the whole epic adventure side of things too!

I know what you mean. But I could certainly go without her bragging to me about all the other men she keeps company with while merely hinting at what she'd do with me "later".
Stop Teasing Me!
What!?
You mean you never got that cut-scene where you met together in the dark alley behind the Ul'dah adventure guild and stowed away into the inn room!?
WAS I THE ONLY ONE!?
Oh how dumb of me to buy Fraps too late in the game to show it! You missed out on QUITE the treat!![]()
