Also I didn't really see anything about romance in your thread. I'm not sure I follow. You seem to be asking that SE focus more on the massive-multiplayer and less on the roleplaying-game? I think social is important but without the latter it becomes something like second-life. The gameplay and its framework must come first! After all when it comes to the social aspect, SE can only do so much - its up to the community and each of us to make it into something worthwhile and meaningful. Maybe your question should be - what can the community do to make FFXIV something more involving/social for its players?
