@Yellow I posted a response to your challenge, but it's probably gonna get lost in the arguments of opposing viewpoints.
Because that aspect of their refusal is based upon a human ideal rather than a natural occurrence, and sometimes even a complete rejection of that occurrence.
Sorry if this feels like I'm stoking a fire here, but please believe that I am not^^;
I'm not sure what you mean by 'the aspect of their ideal is based upon a human ideal rather than a natural occurrence' D: You'll have to elaborate if you could, please^^;;
@Valk: I know that you said that first sentence was sarcastic, but you bring up a valid point.
As humans, we all have differing ideas, viewpoints whether it's something that's been taught to us or something that we have built our own conclusions on and while we do not have to agree with them, we must accept that people do have different stances on things.
Now, while I don't share Kona4me's view, I can accept that he has that view. We won't get anywhere butting heads over this, let's work together to find a positive solution that will work for everyone
Act in such a way that you treat humanity, whether in your own person or in the person of another, always at the same time as an end and never simply as a means
Nix, your ClickyForAwesomes doesn't clicky ; ;
Meow
I tried to fix it but apparently I can't put a bbcode url into my sig!If you have any idea how to do that I would be most grateful for assistance! haha

Well there is exactly one SSM thread on JP side. Mostly they are talking about abolishing marriage and making partnerships or soul brother/sister because they do not want to rock the boat. It is much more civil than here for sure.
Natural occurrence: homosexual relationships occur in nature among different species. There is nothing inherently harmful to their relationship, provided they follow norms of consent and decency.(i:e: thing heterosexual couples cannot do anyway.). The population is not threatened with their existence because A: we are in the BILLIONS. And B: sexual orientation does not effect fertility.Sorry if this feels like I'm stoking a fire here, but please believe that I am not^^;

Human ideal: homosexuals do not exist in a perfect world. Their existence keeps us and others from what the world was intended to be. It is supposed to be (insert outdated celestial decree number 44). And we must correct this, or the nation will "fall apart". To spontaneous terrorists popping up from the ether, and regular weather patterns.

and why cant we think like that?
let us not rock the boat more
Thanks for the clarification, I'm brainfarting and it's 4am, ouch! lol
Based on that, then it'd be easy for us to throw out any argument and say "Well it doesn't occur in nature" D:
