Opinions. I could go off about how this game is made worse because of every single person who plays as an Elezen. It doesn't make it true, but it can still bother me.
Also, while me may have lost 1 orange, we gained 3 apples, 2 grapes and 4 grapefruit.
Indeed there are other improvements. But you cant say 1 more fruit is bad.
(Unless for some reason you dislike animations for continuity (blending)).
Also I edited my post while you quoted it, a little more specific on what I meant.
The blue dots are no more of an immersion killer then the act of zoning itself. If your game needs zoning, I'd appreciate knowing where the zone lines are exactly not guesstimate like you had to in FFXI. Sure there are prob more subtle ways to show the line then blue dots... however they don't bother me, in fact I welcome them.
Don't get me wrong, I'm an animation junkie. I love when games have awesome animation.
However, I always, and I repeat, ALWAYS, put gameplay before animation. Some of my favorite games don't have perfect animations, but I don't care, because I have so much fun playing them. I could just get hung up on that junk, but then I'd just be sitting around brooding all the time instead of having fun with video games, which, last time I checked, was their entire purpose.
I'm sure that's a falacy of some sort.
Mainly because the game didn't suck because of the animations.
Good games make comprimises invisible (or dont even make them in the first place). I dont like hearing people say "one or the other".Don't get me wrong, I'm an animation junkie. I love when games have awesome animation.

But as a matter of priority I understand SE has to make it an interesting game before it can be a game people will even pay for. However I dont want SE to think its done once it finishes one aspect. The animations really will help. Of course we have no idea what SE to do list is, it may already be on there. Then these conversations are hilariously good post count bumps and makes server hard drives paper weights.
i see it like nintendo "back to the roots" .. focus on FUN and gameplay better than focussing on those "trivia's".
because guys wake up... we finally get a real final fantasy (which it looks to me) compare it to the offliners.
it wont help, because "normal" people, who left the game after release wont see any difference.. the people who see that difference are one of the last 50k who stayed in FFXIV and within these forums and getting bored and have nothing more to focus on arguing about.
so no, it wont help. it will help to finally make a real final fantasy out of FFXIV.

To clarify my post about the blue dots, I dont have any problem with them personally. I was only trying to point out how silly some of this "immersion" argument is. some of the same people who complain about minor animations not being present are the same to like and defend the blue dots.
On a personal note, I used to be a huge fan of the entire FF series but after FFX it lost some of its magic for me. Even FFVIII was going for too much of a "realistic" feel for me. I liked the style of animations and graphics from all the previous ones and was very happy with FFIX's throwback to that style.
To each their own i guess.
Tonkra; You don't have a proper grasp on the English language.
Arguing with you is futile, because you barely understand the meaning behind what people say.
1. Adding better animations wouldn't make 2.0 worse
2. Notice how I said "BETTER" not "The same animations as 1.0"
3. Stopping and starting animations are not the only issue
I don't know how else to put it so you understand. I will still play 2.0 even if these things are not addressed.
That does not mean that I think they should remain as is.
This forum is for feedback.
