It's always somethin'. Graphics are fine. They make the game look 100x better in the alpha than in it's current version regardless of the god forsaken grass and unfinished water effects.
Sacrificing texture quality for aesthetics. How dare they!

did one of them went to a boad dock?????????? implying we can travel by boat?

always looking for good people.

Well there is at least a cute peddle boat there. Would be great to see boats again.
I am wondering when they add water expansion if these invisible wall zones will be extended. (Little bit like in FFX where you could swim out a bit, or WoW I guess (deep ocean).. lol)

Oh yeah good point! I think there was discussion about us being able to swim in ARR but haven't seen any info on that in a while lol.

not only swim but underwater combat. i wouldn't bother digging to deep into it though cause the cost/time would be to high and will most likely be in an expansion if ever.

Yeah Yoshi said "I really want to do air and water expansion - but I think I will do air first because it is more iconic. "

Not bad. For sure the polygon count is reduced, but I'm sure that there will be an adjustment depending on the capabilities of each user's machine. I would have definitely liked to have seen a crowded area to truly test the draw rate of characters, but I guess I'll have to wait and see.
As a person who likes to sneak around and hide around corners and follow the walls, I would have like to see more of the camera angles. Sometimes when your character backs up against the wall or something, the camera switches to a close-up view which makes me a little nauseous. I hoping to see if it still did that but again it's one thing that I'll have to wait to test myself. It's not uncommon for games to have the camera to automatically switch like that.
From what I can see the camera is locked to the overhead, behind-the-shoulder view which is more customary to how PC games operate. I like this better than the current method where it's favors the controller. Again I'm sure that they'll have adjustments for preference.
The jumping is fluid and is incorporated well into the functionality of the world. Though I will have to question what we will use to initiate typing. Usually the "jump" is put on the spacebar which is currently being used to initiate the chat log. But of course players are aware that keys can be reassigned so that shouldn't be a function, however there are some out there that play with the default settings so it'll be interesting to see.
Things they need to fix before it releases. THE ANIMATIONS HOLEY COW AM I GOING TO BE PLAYING A GAME FROM 2005? Seriously, terrible.
The character graphics are still terrible. Come on...
