SE Please implement a Chonoscroll/PLEX system in FFXIV: ARR

I think the biggest and most pressing question is: What you do get/gain from a system like this. Why are you pushing so hard for this.

Stable economy
reduction of illegal and destructive RMT
overall larger playerbase

I believe there's more to this than what you are saying and I highly doubt this is for SE or other players benefits.

If you believe that "we" secretly want to break this great game and keep aspects from you on purpose, an intelligent person would do some research for himself and present his findings. Are you afraid of what you might find?

It would be nice if the mods would come close this thread as all you are doing is bumping it for your own agenda.

Now if someone has everything they want why would they stay? Whats the point in playing ? friends? just logging in too chat (theres cheaper ways to chat)? Lets not make XIV like every other standard MMO out there, lets make XIV unique and different period!!!

You sort of answered your questions yourself. It's "reason". No one of sound mind would "buy their way to the top, then abandon the game for lack of content".

Let's assume someone isn't the brightest and does act this way: That is a player you don't want to stay anyway. He leaves on it's own. How would he have friends ingame? As you stated, he bought his "way to the top". No player interaction needed.
(Sarcasm: even though i still don't know which vendor is offering DL-gear and relics.)

Lets not make XIV like every other standard MMO out there, lets make XIV unique and different period!!!

Now here's something that really amuses me: XIV is exactly as you don't want it to be.
It's a standard MMO by all means! If you disagree, what makes this game differ from other avatar-based mmo's regarding game mechanics?
