This is a silly comment... if you had a pet out then you'd be spamming debuffs more, since you wouldn't have a lot of control over the pets themselves =/ At least the 1-shots would give YOU some method of damage-dealing. And I know that they're debuff/DoT pros, but I still think they'll be given 1 or 2 normal nukes, too. Unless they expect us to constantly hit things in the face with a book.

i mean a wandering pet like Belias for Fire... with the power/essence of ifrit... oh well that would have been just so awesome.. just look at the artwork.. it would so perfectly have fit into FFXIV

Belias does look pretty cool and matches the game well... I really see it now that you've put the image into my head.
