I dunno. Until now no other developer tried to revived a failed game like that, they never bothered. There are some titles that were supposed to receive 2.0 versions as well, but most of them are still floating in the limbo afaik and nowhere close to be released after being announced years ago. That fact alone speaks a lot I think. Of course, once again, that's just a personal thought
