I hope no one takes these threads seriously even the design team... I still don't see how the game is a WoW clone... I don't see why people get riled up by people like rokien... I mean if their kind had power FFXIV original would still stand... and I would of quit with a lot of the band wagon after launch o_o... seriously bashing a quest system... go suck a fat one... you do it in any game even in earlier FF games... OH FOR THIS RARE ITEM GO COLLECT SO AND SO AND BRING IT BACK FOR ME... thats like saying every side quest in any FF game is a WoW clone... I do not get it o___o WoW has succesful questing... PVP... PVE... and a lot of other systems and people expect something new? If its not broken don't fix it isnt that the saying... there is nothing wrong with originality but ffs...

FFXI has a new expansion out soon people... if you don't like ARR go back to playing it and QQ about abyssea some more...

I'm glad the forums are so full of intelligent individuals who suffer from delusions of grandeur~ and always look back on XI with rosey retrospection... sure I liked the game... but I would of enjoyed something less grinding because unlike other people I had a life... when it took me 10 hours to get 72-75 not one break with school in the morning that is just way to long... I'm sorry I hate grinding... and I hate stuff like even in FFXIV while exping being in competition for grinding spots like Natalan was all the time... at least questing tells a story that keeps me going instead of being bored out of my god damned mind in an exp party for hours upon end...

you can't please everyone though... no matter what someone will piss on your cake...or for those that hate cake lets say pie... or even icecream... a cookie even...
