PLD BLM THM WHM DRGx2 MNK BRD
whm intensive but not to bad.
This is pretty much how my LS did it. It's actually not that bad for WHM if:
    1) PLD blocks acoustics.
    2) Melee don't eat thermionic more than occasionally.
    3) MNK removes def buff. (Not necessary but helps a lot.)

I'd go so far as to say two WHM is overkill, one will just be nuking most of the time.

Just as an addition to Meatdawgs post above - I highly recommend skipping the Golem phase after the second megaflare.

Push Darnus to 80% hp (not below) wait for a dive.
when he goes up - do not send your DD to push him, everyone gather at the bottom with a Thm (one on the ledge still ofc)
When the screen flashes, everyone hits their buffs and the thm does aoe sanguine.

Darnus lands and everyone burns him! all the dd's have their cooldowns ready and should have TP'd on the golem that he spawned during the dive.

We normaly push 30-35% damage in this phase, more than the 20% required to skip a golem phase

also note: we do this for every dalamud dive, The dd's running up and down and burning their cooldowns on a def-up darnus didnt help our timer at all, letting him regain 2-3% hp and hitting the party for 600damage each is nothing compared to the damage dealt by 2 dragoons with their cooldowns ready!

I found it a lot easier when tank just didn't ever move Nael. If he warped mages adjusted to the new spot.
Lunar Dynamo / Iron Curtain are a lot more annoying when Nael is running around, and sometimes he refuses to move so you have to adjust anyway.

This right here is pretty much all you need to know if you are having trouble beating the fight. There are 2 big keys to winning

1 - DONT GET HIT BY DYNAMO. Seriously. If you have like 3 or 4 people that get hit by a single dynamo you are looking at losing atleast a minute and a half off the clock.

2- Push him out of golem spawn phase as fast as you can. For every time he spawns golems you are facing a good chunk of time where alot of your DD will have to focus on making sure the golems don't over run you.

Yeah whatever works best for your group. I usually get a different perspective based on who we ask, the tank or the mages

Mages always need to be ready to adjust, but if the tank can keep him in the middle is makes Dynamo trivial.

Yep, it's something to try if you keep getting hit by random dynamos.

17:48 kill with seven deaths, on pace for ~12-13min kill without any deaths. we'll see what we end up with when we try again wednesday

but i can pretty much confirm that he will always jump and megaflare as soon as he takes ~2500+ damage. leading with buffed thundagas and going all out with 3 drgs, we weren't able to do more than 2500 damage. we just did it faster (15-20sec), and that still had no influence on damage taken.

most of us can survive without lunar curtain, but that's mainly because we start with HP food and HP gear, have aoe sanguine rite and stoneskin and battle voice. lunar curtain was still necessary for our bard.

I feel your pain, My LS will only do certain fights as static only, meaning people who want to do them are excluded. (It's so bad I'm thinking of dropping that shell completely.) It's not right that people do this, and it only hurts the community in the long run.

I used to go brd and bv after we zoned in and changed to BLM and the hp buff would last long enough so we just needed an aoe Sangunie rite and we could still use potions throughout the fight but we eventually just went back to using lunar curtains.

You can do it either way, whatever works best for your group.
