Clarification on Relic Quest in 2.0 in regards to Speed Runs

You don't need to complete the raids for the AF quest. You just go in, find the box and you're good. None of them require a win, much less a speed run win.

Oh, I see. Thanks, now I'm not concerned anymore lol I just thought that those zones, AV/DD/CC were all speed-runs and that you only had a certain amount of time to get the AF gear. I wasn't sure.

well in a way you do have only a certain amount of time to get to the chest, but in av and cc it only takes around 2-3 min to get to the chest when you have an hour to get there. in dh it does take beating the first boss and getting just beyond him, but none of them require you to get a speed run for the af. they don't even require a full clear for it.

the only requirements for the speed runs are for the relic quest and for the darklight bodies. everything else either requires just a win or doing something additional inside the dungeon(killing marshal after the princess).

Thank you for clarifying. I really wasn't sure, so I was holding out on getting AF until ARR, because right now all of my LS friends are playing GW2 and no one can help me with the Lv35 quests
