Pretty much, even as someone that can communicate effectively in Japanese I couldn't give two shits about playing with them, even more so given the fact the majority of them don't want to play with us.
Oh and someone mentioned it 15 pages back, but yeah, the majority of Japanese people are xenophobic, it's a phenomenon observable across their culture from the first Portuguese missionaries to present day. Japan is 99% ethnically homogenous, they have a strong ethnic solidarity and identity, so much to the point that even born-in-Japan Koreans/born-in-Japan mixed children(such as a Japanese and a non-Japanese's child) are often the target of exclusion and the Japanese's culture's passive ostracism.
Hell, it's a common trait amongst most Asian nations, unless you're their brand of Asian, they hate you.
