There's nothing to sink in. Ward prices will be the same for a while. I'll be at much much less gil than I have now while the people who have over 100mil will still be able to afford just about anything. Yeah...so, instead of being a giant troll, how about you let it sink in that anyone under 100mil is getting the shaft and it's SE's fault.

Who is going to have over 100m? Nobody, max is 99. Who is going to be able to afford things at 1.0 prices? Nobody, because we're all having our gil reduced. Who is going to undercut to the new POST-CHANGE VALUE of items? Lots of people, which will even things out. But whatever, have fun thinking the gil redenonimation matters at all (aside from some inevitable early inflation).

Wow, you really are dumb. Ok, let me spell this out for you, Mr. Dumb Troll. You have 100 mil now. You don't spend it. At 2.0, you will have 10mil. Most prices will be around 10mil. Now, I have 2mil. At 2.0, I will have 200k. This is going to hurt ME a lot more than it's going to hurt YOU because you will still be able to afford anything, while I'll be pretty broke. True those with less gil will wind up with same gil at a lower rate and those with more gil will wind up with same aount just at a lower rate but heres the thing an item that sells in the wards now for 2mil will only be worth 200k as well there is no way anyone would be able to buy anything otherwise because there are definately not that many people who do have 100mil plus gil its not just you and me its everything gear, mats, npc sale and buy prices leve rewards everything across the board is getting hit with this the items that sell now for 10 mil will be knocked down to 1 mil simply because no one will buy it otherwise and tehy will sit up there and not sell until far far down the road after 2.0 has been out for least few months

I'm sorry but you are the dumb one if you think prices are going to stay that high after the change. There may be some inflation, but nothing like that.

Edit; And they ARE looking out, thank you. This easily could have been a complete gil wipe situation, which would be a completely different story. There is nothing unfair or that hard to understand about what they are doing.

Kind of funny...there's already a bit of inflation now ha and our gil hasn't even been stolen yet. YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY. I love having months of work just reduced to nothing.

If the prices are too high in 2.0 I will do what I do now. I will locate a crafter that can make the item I desire and farm up the mats myself (or buy if the price is right). Heck 90% of the time they have most of the materials laying around on a Retainer anyway. If I need materia I find others who have the same need, or who need 45+ xp and do a spirit binding party.

If I need an item I can craft and I feel lazy I look for it on the MW and seeing none, or too expensive I will craft up a few and keep one for myself and put the rest up at a more reasonable price.

If prices are too high I just don't buy. I will craft, gather, barter and trade before I cave to overpriced items.

If someone in one of my LSs is complaining something is too expensive in the MW I will make it for them or assist in finding them a crafter who can.

I do this all now, and will continue to do so in 2.0.

months of work doesn't stand up to people who have years of work ... seems like in all games people just want stuff handed to them without having to work for it

Do not complain about losing few months of work when there are those who are losing what they worked for from the launch of this game little over 2 years ago

Who is going to be buying this 10 mil gil item of which you speak. No one. The market will correct itself. An item is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. And no one is paying 10 mil for an item in the new economy. (unless its extremely rare/sought after...think 4 meld, +120 atk gloves)
