I hope you guys are right about people magically selling stuff cheaper. Otherwise I'm gonna be really broke for no reason.

Think about it this way ..... with everyone losing their gil, who is going to keep buying things at super high prices? And how long will their gil last?
You and everyone else. I mean think about it for one second... If we're all broke - who the fuck are they gonna sell a Darksteel Hauby+1 for 4.5-5M gil to?
The above will be slightly high even for a double melded weapon for relic.

This is how I feel when I read posts on these boards:
Awwww.../comfort
They should consider just dividing the gil into smaller denominations. Other games ran into this problem too. In most recent memory, TERA did exactly what WoW did. They both started out with just gold, but ended up adding silver and copper denominations, with what was previously 1 gold equaling 1 copper. Everyone probably wants to keep gil so I don't know what they'd call it here though.
Still, it'd probably feel nicer to new players to get 1000 copper coins instead of like, 1 gil or whatever it's going to end up being now.
I have a secret to tell. From my electrical well. It's a simple message and I'm leaving out the whistles and bells. So the room must listen to me Filibuster vigilantly. My name is blue canary one note* spelled l-i-t-e. My story's infinite Like the Longines Symphonette it doesn't rest- TMBG Birdhouse in your Soul
A huge THANK YOU!!!! For FINALLY selling the Meteor Survivor Polo on the store. AND a huge thanks to my friend who bought it for me while he was at Fan Fest!!! YES I finally have my POLO!!!
Just assume that hey have. 1 "new gil" will be worth 10 "old gil". Tada, crisis averted. They should consider just dividing the gil into smaller denominations. Other games ran into this problem too. BECAUSE THAT'S WHAT IT'S HAPPENING, PEOPLE.
I have zero problem with it either way, but if the goal was to have less ridiculous numbers, adding new denominations would've made more sense and certainly caused less whining from people who can't do math.
Wow... I reeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaalllllllllllllly hope that half the people in this thread don't ever breed.
EVER!
Speaking of breeding, I get the concept here, so I guess that means my genes are viable to pass along. Any takers?
I say we change to ANCIENT CURRENCY.
1 gil = 1 Byne Bill
1000 gil = 1 Montoit Silverpiece
100000 gil = 1 Lugo Nango Jadeshell.
