Like I said in one of my post in this thread, I worked my ass off on this game and the people that run this game are taking items from my character. You can also say what you want about there is no loss, but there is, and repeating over an over saying it will be the same is not true, I will have less after Nov 1st.

I pay monthly fee to play this game, I don't pay a monthly fee to have stuff removed from my account, that is about as basic a concept I can put for you guys to understand. Yes literal value is the only thing that matters about this thread. Because I am literally going to lose my electronic items.

Its the equivalent of having 1/10th the number of dollar bills worth $1
...and all of those new bills worth $10.

everything is 10x tougher to earn, which makes every gil worth 10x the time and effort to earn.

It IS the economy that matters here. The math you are trying to apply to logic is... seriously lacking in understanding that your gil will be worth 10 times as much.

This changes nothing in the end.

In the stock market this would be the equivalent of a 10 to 1 reverse stock split. Every 10 shares turn into 1 so the amount of actual shares that you hold drops but the price per share rises in order to maintain the overall value of it.

Personally I would not hold securities through a reverse split (like what happened with THQ in July) but that's another conversation entirely.
