Welcome to The Locker!!
Dawn Drops. 15 seals for 10. 50,000 seals is about 3,333 sets, meaning 33,330 total. Selling each of those to an NPC for 125 gil is 4,160,000 gil.
Math time!
Dawn drops 15 seal get 10 sell for npc 125
it means:
15k seals = 10k DD
10k * 125 = 1.250.000 gil
(i hope I do the math right XD)

Eh, couldn't they have made Dawn Drops non sellable like with some of the NM drops currently in-game? That's how you nip it in the bud. I was lucky to finally get enough seals for Mess with the Goat, Get the Horns thanks to this event. Guess I won't be getting past that point. =/
* The sad thing is that FFXIV turned RDM into a turret, and people think that's what it's supposed to be. It's supposed to combine sword and magic into something more, not spend the bulk of gameplay spamming spells and jump into melee for only 3 GCDs before scurrying back to the back line like good little casters.
* Design ideas:
Red Mage - COMPLETE (https://tinyurl.com/y6tsbnjh), Chemist - Second Pass (https://tinyurl.com/ssuog88), Thief - First Pass (https://tinyurl.com/vdjpkoa), Rune Fencer - First Pass (https://tinyurl.com/y3fomdp2)
Well the problem is, they don't know about an exploit until players start to exploit it... So how exactly are they supposed to stop it before it starts? Testing? Yes, but sometimes things are missed simply because if you put a system into the game and test it to your hearts content- you still only have a limited amount of time and players to test it, then when it's released a much larger sample group is given the system to play and /will/ find the easiest and best way to beat it. You call it exploiting, I call it strategy. That is why they have to fix things, because players are finding a strategy that was unintended in the first place. I didn't do the event because I didn't care about seals and I really don't give 2 shits that people were getting tons of seals before and now you can't, or that other players have things that I don't. See what a big boy does?
