Even if 2.0 is the best game ever, it will end up falling apart and bleeding customers due to poor game management.

Garuda was the best example of this.
"Hey guys, please don't blackmage burn"
everyone blackmage burns

So after garuda's little exploit you had a ton of "hardcore" players with every weapon, and a fight that most people had no chance in. None of the hardcore players wanted to do garuda because, surprise surprise, they all exploited it and got all the weapons.

The last few days has been no different.
SE releases this atmos event
Hardcore players (many who play non stop all day) exploit the system non stop, get 100s of thousesands of seals.

SE changes the system, and now people get almost nothing.

While I fully understand not wanting people to exploit the game, here is a tip: STOP THE EXPLOITS IMMEDIATELY

Allowing some hardcore players to exploit to their delight and then screwing over casual players who may not be able to waste 24 hours of their life doing a repetitive event in one go is -NOT- a good policy.

All it will do is scare people away from this game.

So please, when 2.0 comes around, learn from the mistakes you have made OVER and OVER and OVER and OVER again.

To be honest I stopped caring about gear or achievements or anything in this game months ago as it became clear that the majority of hardcore players have botted and expploited their way to prominence.

But I really want 2.0 to survive. and no one likes coming to a game on a friday night only to realize that their friends just got all the GC gear that they have spent 100+ hours grinding chocobos for, and now they can't even get the remaining gear without grinding another 100+ hours.

At the moment SE's message to people is: "If theres an exploit, abuse it -as fast as you can- becasue we aren't going to do anything about it, and if you just wait you will end up with less gear and weaker than everyone else"

And now if there will be a gear-score system, people will not want to be at a disadvantage.
