The problem is SE was being generous and people abused, so now all they have to do is not be nice and generous and there won't be any abusing.

Eh, couldn't they have made Dawn Drops non sellable like with some of the NM drops currently in-game? That's how you nip it in the bud. I was lucky to finally get enough seals for Mess with the Goat, Get the Horns thanks to this event. Guess I won't be getting past that point. =/

From previous experience on many other MMO's if there is an exploit you will either be rolled back or banned. Its interesting the SE in FFXIV is afraid to do anything.

(Abusing) Exploits are against the ToS. It's not SE being a jerk if they did do something thats them upholding their ToS.

I may just be lucky but I'm actually coming out with more seals now then I was before with all these crystals. Was usually getting about 12k per 18:00/0.00. Now I'm hitting about 15k+

edit: this wasn't an exploit you think SE didnt realize they were going to give out seals like candy, they just overlooked the fact you could buy dawn drops for pure profit and have enough seals to do it all day nonstop.

Is that an exploit? I don't want to spend seals on things I won't use and will only clutter inventory.

How do I know it's design to play that way or it's cheating?

We always never know until SE fixed something then we are...

We can't just because it's easy then we stop doing it... like using lv50 char to kill low lv mobs or high lv crafter to speedy hand low lv formula... These are easy, but are they exploits?

You didn't create more gil, you just take the already existing gil from other players. Or did you sell the materias to a npc?
