    omg Nemy really? We just had this conversation, and you said I was misrepresenting what you meant by Korean MMO when you are doing exactly what I said you meant. You are being offensive and saying that this is a copy-pasta Korean MMO now not a SE unique engine and aesthetic's MMO. Stop being offensive. Also yes Hiir you are right Every new review I have read of Gamescom '12 animations are glowing saying "this is the game we should of gotten! Way to go Yoshi-P and SE for doing the Impossible and making a trash game appeasing".

    Also Rokien, you are the Majority? I am sure in a few months when they have a lot of new subs you will be in the minority like a 1% minority.

    Again yes it was unique and I wouldn't mind if they left it in, but it won't make me quit like all of you have been claiming since 1.0 was released. I remember some of you said you would quit because Yoshi-P was taking over for Tanaka but you are still here. In the end this proves in a year when you are still here playing it really is a minor thing and you guys actually truly like the game even if you won't admit it to yourself.

    It's not impossible to make fluid animations and not suffer from animation lock. Look at any other major MMO out there.

    But SE has stated many times they are going to keep the animations to completion if the animation is going on you are there for the ride period. They want it realistic and the reality of that is if you start a 6 hit combo you have to stand still for the 6 hits, you don't get to run away mid attack. They are looking to remove some of the smaller in-between motions that we probably will not miss anyway. Just as I think if keeping the servers up past the deadline causes even 1 person to be delayed working on ARR than its not worth it to me. I think if these minor animations need any attention then scrapping them is the better choice. I want engaging combat and battle choices that test the decisions I make in battle versus the speed I can react to hitting a button as cooldowns are up.

    I'm sorry but if i face a monster and i start to make a 6 combo move , if the mob is launching a big bad fireball in my face i will stop my combo so i will not die .

    They've added smooth animation and kept aesthetics as important.
    EDIT: And seriously: Taking one word out of context and then suggesting I don't know what I'm talking about... I mean, can you guys at least try to defend your position without resorting to slanted editing of posts.

    Speaking of which, nowhere did it say the animations got in the way of playability. They likely just tossed them out so they could focus on other things. Which, in retrospect, is an ok idea, but I am still bewildered as to why they would get rid of them in the first place. I think I can wait until November 12th if it takes one more day to make my character look like a real person rather than a toon in an MMO.

    I meant aesthetics. ARR is head and shoulders above 1.0 in this respect.
