More difficult than what i'm suggesting.

It'd be easy for Reinheart to do both... I really don't understand why people would be against this. I'm simply stating the forum includes this functionality already.

I'm not against this. However the fact of the matter is Reinheart puts out time and effort for free for us to have translated FFXIV information so I we can not have to wait for the reps to do that. Anyways, thank you Reinheart for all your hard work on translating infomation for us .

Regarding ! mark for quests.

ジャーナルのMAPにてイベントの位置は確認できるわけですから、NPCの位置までMAP表示する必要はないと思います。
今の仕様は親切ではなくRPGの探索・探求（＝クエスト）要素を壊していると思われます。
今のFF14は戦闘コンテンツに重点が置かれすぎていて、RPG要素が欠けていると思われます。新生でもこのままの仕様で進むのでしょうか？
You can check the event location through journal's map so I don't think you need to have it where it shows even the NPC's location on the map. I believe this feature breaks the RPG's function to search for the quest. Current FF14 is focused too much on battle content and lacking the RPG features. Is 2.0 going to be like this as well?

クエスト対象のキャラクターなどの位置をマップに表示していることについてですが、昔のゲームと比べると最近のゲームはクエスト対象となるキャラクターを探す範囲が広くなっていますので、わかりやすい方がいいと考えた結果、マップにも「！」を表示しています。
Regarding the characters from quest shown on the map, unlike old games, newer games has a large range of area to search for those quest characters therefore to make easier to spot them we have the ! displayed on the map as well.

NPC探しではなく、クエストのストーリーを理解することなどに探究心を費やして欲しいと考えているため、現状のような仕様にしていますが、AF装備など、置かれている場所を探して欲しいものについては、探究要素を残していく予定です。
We have it set up this way because we want the players to spend time understanding the quests story more rather than spending time on trying to find the NPC, but for quests such as AF gear which we want you to find the location we are planning to leave features where you have to research.

どのNPCからクエストが発生するのかを探して回るよりも、クエストを受注してから、どんなストーリーが待っているかワクワクと楽しんでいただければと思います。
Instead of running around finding out which NPC gives which quest, would like for you to enjoy the story behind the quests once you start them.

Regarding animations

Good evening,

個人的には、矢は帯を描きながら、相手に向かって飛び、
投擲は各種武器種をイメージしたようなエフェクトを、
魔法は専用のエフェクトで、地を這うような電撃や、火の玉、氷の氷柱などを投げつけたいです！
Personally, would like to see the arrow flying towards the target and for throwing weapons to show those weapons, and for spells have an individual effect like lightning that runs through the ground, or throwing fire balls or ice pillars!

遠距離攻撃を使用した際のアニメーションにバリエーションを増やして欲しいという件ですが、新生版では一部の魔法攻撃などで対象に着弾するまでのアニメーションが表示されるようになりますので、バリエーションは多少なりとも増える見込みです。
Regarding adding more variations to animations for range attacks. In 2.0 for some spells it will show animation until it lands on the target so although the variation isn't much it is planned to increase.

詠唱中のアニメーションエフェクトも追加して欲しいですね。
Would also like to have more animation effects when casting a spell also.

白の回復魔法に関しては合っているとおもうので現状そのままでもいいのですが、白の攻撃魔法や黒の魔法は属性に沿った詠唱エフェクトだと雰囲気が出てかなりいい感じになるとおもいます。
I think for WHM healing spells the current effect matches so can leave it as is but for WHM, BLM's elemental attack spells I think it would give a better feel if you can add effect matching that element.

現状ふわふわ上にむかっている赤く丸い玉みたいなヤツで統一されていると思いますが、サンダー系では紫系の色合いで詠唱者の周りにバリバリ電気系のエフェクトが加わるとか、ブリザド系だと氷の結晶が回りに出来て消えてみたいな、そんな感じだと何の魔法を唱えているかも見た目でわかりやすいですしいいかなと思うのですがいかがでしょうか？
Right now red ball like thing rises up but for thunder type spells have purple color instead with lightning effect around it, or blizzard types to show ice crystals. Something like that which makes it easier to know what spells is being casted right away from looking. What do you think?

新生版では幻術魔法／呪術魔法／白魔法／黒魔法／歌などのカテゴリーで詠唱モーションが異なります。また魔法の属性などでエフェクトの色が変わり、何系の魔法を詠唱中なのか見分けやすくなる見込みです。
In 2.0 Conjurer/Thamaturge/WHM/BLM/Songs will have different casting motions depending on the category. Also the color of the effect will be different depending on the spells element so this should make it easier to see what type of spell is being casted.
