    Honestly I'm just guessing MNK mechanics might change somehow (maybe make it so fists aren't MP based and are based on something else?) that we will have to re-adjust to.

    Doubt it, TP drain would be freakin stupid.

    My guess would be fists work like stances like now but only activate their effects while you have a combo going (including a closing WS).

    I'd trust SE to not take away the one thing that seperates Monk from other melee. Unless they replace it with something cooler.

    I wouldn't mind seeing fists go for stances that incur penalties (attack stance vs. defense stance, etc)

    That's what the original idea for pugilist was. I remember even before alpha was out they had pics of the PUG using an offensive stance and a defensive stance.

    Yup, precisely. The longer you spent in a stance the more time it would buff (i.e. the more you're in defense stance the less damage you'll take up to a certain point).


    It looked neat in concept. Would be nice if they brought this back for ARR.

    Thanks for finding the picture, Colino! Yeah that's what I'm talking about. I really hope they add details like this in 2.0. Considering they're not going to make racial differences when it comes to battle animations (which is a step backwards compared to FFXI), I'm scared they're not going to bother. =/

    Reinheart, why don't you start creating a new topic with each new response. Use the topic title's you currently use "Rep Response - [DATE] [DESCRIPTION]" just as a new topic under General Discussions. This would make finding new translated responses easier.



    Right now, I load the thread... jump to end, and start searching back words. Yes it works but the forum does not remember what post i last read in any given discussion. Also your responses often appear midway down a page and I often miss spotting them.

    This would make it easier for everyone I'm sure to keep up with your work translating SE's representatives. And I'm sure everyone would like to see that.
