I see the roadmap and a TRANSLATION, which have often been wrong. My argument is still valid and you are still rude and obnoxious. According to the roadmap, post-Jan is sell. They won't sell the game without data being transfered. In the translation, he said that they expect the data transfer to be done by the end of march. This, again, does not mean that it won't be done mid feb.

Ok, look at what you're saying here. You're pulling information from two different things and piecing them together to not make sense. If retail sale, not presale, is going to start "post-Jan," which could be Jan+, since they don't know exactly when it will start, how can they know for sure that it will be the end of march before they finish data transfer? Again, expecting to get something done by a certain time DOES NOT MEAN that it will be done exactly by that time.

Also, I really don't take kindly to you throwing out childish insults as if you were no older than 8. Please, do your best to refrain from such ignorant behavior and try to act civilized and see my point, instead of going off on a mouth foaming rant about how stupid I am.

God dang Grow up! And Dubont I understand what your saying, they said also the tranfer data period will only take a month at max Yoshi said. They have 300 people on this one project I am sure it will be out on retail i I January early feb lastest. And thats not to say they transfer all the data October to November and then December we can play it beforee it hits retail.. they cant leave the current base stranded

First off i must say thank you to everyone who responded to my first post. I absolutly loved reading your responses. After taking everything in there is pretty much no way 2.0 will be out before the first of the year. To anyone who thinks differently step back and think about it. They're really gonna hold Alpha, closed Beta, Open Beta, listen to our feedback and adjust, as well as market and release the game?. ..........I mean really? anyone who thinks this will happen is crazy. They rushed the first version I doubt there gonna rush the second. Also we still have seen nothing!! There is just no way were gonna be playing a game we havent even seen in the next three months. It's almost funny when you think about it.........no WAY!!!!

Third quarter of a fiscal year ending in march is october-december. Not March. Either way, it gives them a 3 month window to finish that. Meaning they'll have it done by Open beta. Doesn't sound like april/may.

Going back on character data transfers, is it safe to assume that, it is quite possible that whatever character(s) we play as on the PC beta will be the vessel/placeholder of our "reborn" character(s)? I can't think of any possible way for race/gender/name change to work unless this is the case, which is kind of cool.

Also, keep in mind that if the 1.0 servers shutdown and the 2.0 beta starts, and going what I said above, you're basically playing your character from scratch until the transfer is complete. That shouldn't be a big deal, if you really think about it.

Just a speculation.

Doesn't that mean December? Fiscal year ending March 31, 2013 so the end of third quarter is December 2013. Jan - March 2013 is the FOURTH quarter.
