Thread: Besides the Empire, what else is there?

I was poking around, just out of boredom, saw this page before but didnt think anything of it. But now I've stopped to wonder..

Besides the Empire, what else could be a threat to our way of life, in ARR?

And mind you, whatever it is, is big enough that they've given it its own block.

The Dragon Hordes perhaps?

Empire
Beast Tribes
Primals
Whatever's inside Dalamud
Dragons
Ishgard

Don't forget there are other continents, nations, tribes, people. Here's a swift list to name a few:

Sharlayan, the Gardens of Xarakish, Cieldalaes, the floating lakes of Voor Sian Siran...

And zombies. Those things can pack quite a burp.

Actually Sihl'da used Zombies in their war against Ul'dah and got wiped out.

Talk to more NPCs... there is actually a lot more about Sharlayan in the game than you'd imagine.

For starters, the god Thaliak is actually the patron of that city-state... and the members of Circle of All Knowing, of which the Archon Lousioiux (or Thaliak himself?) is the leader, also originates from there.

Also be sure to look again at that map and notice the icon of the dragon over it, the mountains... then look at the opening CG. Those dragons do reside somewhere...
