I voted both because forum poll voting is one of the worst ways to collect overall player opinion. Lol.
It's more fun than taking 12 seconds.Taking three minutes to kill one monster is fun?
I think leveling is paced just right as is.
You kill a monster based on your party and well it's able to work together, I suppose. Shitty party? Long fight!
Anywhos, as people mentioned earlier endgame is where the real time consuming fights come in.
That leaves no room for debuff spells as other have mentioned! No point in those classes, people wouldn't even want to party with you, because you would be usless!~
False. Debuffs can still play a role in 4/8-man dungeons and 24-man raids. CC would still be needed for adds. Debuffs can be used to supplement tank and DPS performance without going to silly extremes. It's quite feasible and part of the way there with current ability design. The devs just have to ensure that potency is built-in, in a matter of speaking.

* The sad thing is that FFXIV turned RDM into a turret, and people think that's what it's supposed to be. It's supposed to combine sword and magic into something more, not spend the bulk of gameplay spamming spells and jump into melee for only 3 GCDs before scurrying back to the back line like good little casters.
* Design ideas:
Red Mage - COMPLETE (https://tinyurl.com/y6tsbnjh), Chemist - Second Pass (https://tinyurl.com/ssuog88), Thief - First Pass (https://tinyurl.com/vdjpkoa), Rune Fencer - First Pass (https://tinyurl.com/y3fomdp2)
I don't believe Rokien is talking about dungeons or raids, but specifically fighting standard mobs, which, let's be frank, is 90% of the game.False. You're right! But, why are you leveling? To get to 50, right? That's where the current content is. SE wants you to level fast so you can play with the rest of your friends. I assume in 2.0 leveling will be close to Korean MMO tier, so you can just always wait it out. Or, you know. Level a crafting job. Plenty of time to learn your abilities there.
No, to me it's a journey, a sense of progression, character growth. I don't like end game stuff, I didn't do it in FFXI, yet I played that game for 9 years.You're right! But, why are you leveling?
