If you want to go the GC route for gear, a Lieutenant weapon with 5 piece bonus is a nice option. If you have to give up a str ring for a gc attack ring, the attack power added should more than make up for any lost str.

H2h does count. I went a different route of weapon, body, legs, waist, feet since I use militia earrings and want every bit of -emnity I can get.
